Prabmeet Sarkaria is the Member of Provincial Parliament for Brampton South.
Prabmeet worked as a corporate and commercial Associate at Miller Thomson LLP prior to being elected. He has a law degree from the University of Windsor as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University where he majored in Finance. Prior to going into law, he worked at TD Securities.
Passionate about community service, Prabmeet is an active volunteer. He served on the City of Brampton’s Property Standards Committee and served on the Board of Directors for Hockey for Humanity and KarmaGrow. He is also an avid sports fan who enjoys playing and watching hockey, basketball, baseball, and football.
Prabmeet will advocate day and night for Brampton South and the citizens of Ontario. He is committed to working for the people and will always make time to assist anyone that needs his assistance.
Brampton South is the heart of Brampton. The population of Brampton South is one of the most diverse in the country. Over half of the residents are immigrants or the children of immigrants. Brampton South is home to major businesses like Loblaw Companies LTD, Amazon and Canon. The riding is also notable for being the home of former Premier, Bill Davis. The riding encompasses the southwest part of the city with the boundary of Mississauga to the south and Halton to the west. Brampton South ends at Queen Street in the north, but stretches into downtown Brampton and up to Williams Parkway.
